Experts have warned people not to buy cheap DIY Botox kits. Botox kits, costing as little as $100, have appeared on the internet, most notable on the auction site eBay. The kits contain needles, saline (for mixing with the Botox powder), Botox powder, and a facial diagram showing where to inject the Botox.

Health experts have warned people away from using silicone implants. New York City’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene have issued a statement warning against the use of silicone injections.
Silicone is most commonly used in the cosmetic surgery industry in implants such as breast implants. However doctors are increasingly using silicone injections (not implants) for buttock enhancements, facial rejuvenation and in some cases, breast enhancements. The silicone is injected into the skin to plump up the area and reduce the look of wrinkles.

The World’s first “Anti-Age” perfume has been released. New York based Harvey Prince Co. have created a perfume which they claim can make a women appear up to eight years younger thanks to her smell alone.
It is well known that smells can leave a lasting impression. With their perfume, ‘Ageless Fantasy’, Harvey Prince Co. conducted trials with 75 men to determine which smells were most associated with youthfulness. Grapefruit and mango featured highly and are key ingredients of the anti-aging perfume and the fragrance is said to be exciting, energizing and uplifting and makes the wearer feel younger and make others believe she is younger.

Nicole Kidman has denied having any form of cosmetic procedure to help her maintain her youthful look.
In particular, Kidman has denied rumours of Botox stating that actresses need to be able to move their faces in order to portray emotions.

One of the biggest downsides of having cosmetic surgery is the scars that the surgery leaves behind. Many good plastic surgeons will attempt to hide scars either in natural folds in the skin or in areas that are not often looked at, however the fact is that the scars will still be there.

Chantelle Houghton, most famous for winning Celebrity Big Brother and he short marriage to Ordinary Boys singer Samuel Preston, has said she regrets her breast augmentation cosmetic surgery.
After her high-profile divorce from Preston, Houghton decided to enlarge her breasts from a 32B to a 32E. However the 25 year old is now not convinced that getting the surgery was a good idea and is now considering having breast reduction surgery to reduce their size.
