Rhinoplasty – otherwise known as a ‘nose job’ is one of the most common cosmetic surgery procedures. People undergo nose surgery for a number of reasons, the most common being:

- To change the angle between the hose and the upper lip

What is Botox?
Botox is actually a neurotoxic protein called the ‘botulin toxin’. It is produced by the bacterium ‘clostridium botulinum’ and it is one of the most poisonous naturally occurring substances in the world. A single drop of the toxin can kill over 50,000 people.
How does it work?
In the 1950s, researchers discovered that injecting overactive muscles with minute quantities of the botulinium toxin (type A) decreased muscle activity by blocking the release of a chemical, thereby rendering the muscle unable to contract for anything up to 6 months.
Tummy tucks, otherwise known as abdominoplasty, can remove fat from your lower abdomen as well as tightening your middle girdle to flatten the stomach, and remove stretch marks from the lower abdomen.
However, it will not be able to remove stretch marks on the mid or upper abdomen. If you have a thick layer of fat on your upper abdomen, a tummy tuck will not remove this.
What is liposuction?
Liposuction – it has many names and forms. The most common of these are lipoplasty, liposculpture and lipectomy. They are all the same procedure – most of these names were coined by surgeons who wanted their liposuction techniques to stand out and sound better than their competitors.

Procedure: The shape of the nose is changed by reducing or increasing size, removing hump, changing shape of tip or bridge, narrowing span of nostrils, or changing the angle between nose and upper lip. Occasionally performed to improve breathing problems.

Side Effects: Temporary swelling, bruising around eyes, nose and headaches, some bleeding and stiffness.
Procedure: Reduce enlarged, female-like breast in men using liposuction and/or cutting out excess glandular tissue.

Side Effects: Temporary bruising, swelling, numbness, soreness, burning sensations.
Risks: Infection, fluid accumulation, injury to the skin, asymmetry, pigmentation changes.

2 to 3 weeks: Strenuous activity
3 to 6 months: Full recovery from swelling and bruising
