Skin experts claim that uneven skin tones can age your face as much as fine lines and wrinkles so it is no surprise that many people are concerned about freckles and marks on their face.
According to research by beauty brand Clinique, 43 per cent of women in the UK are concerned about pigmentation.
The term ‘hyperpigmentation’ covers a number of things including small areas of pigmentation such as freckles, sun spots and liver spots, through to much larger areas of darkened skin.

Doctors have warned over the safety of the Microneedle Therapy System.

Plastic surgery is not skin deep any more. More and more cosmetic surgery procedures are emerging where the underlying structure can be changed to alter the patient’s appearance.
One particular structural cosmetic surgery procedure that is gaining popularity in the Far East is changing square-shaped faces to a more rounded facial shape. The British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) has cautioned patients to check the credentials of their cosmetic surgeons before they go under the knife.
More specifically, those contemplating liposuction need to ensure that the cosmetic surgeon they are visiting is a specialist in this area.
Body contouring through liposuction is one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures in the UK with around 450,000 procedures carried out every year. However the rising demand for the surgery comes at a price.

What constitutes the perfect belly button? A recent survey by the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation showed that women of black and Asian descent would most like to have a round innie belly button, whilst Caucasian women would prefer to have a vertical oval belly button. Of all the women surveyed, all wanted an ‘innie’ rather than an ‘outie’.
If you are unhappy with the shape of your belly button it is possible to have cosmetic surgery to change its shape.
