Pop singer Jessica Simpson has endured much speculation over the years over whether she has had cosmetic surgery or not. Talking to Harper’s Bazaar, she has confirmed that she has never had cosmetic surgery however she will not rule out having it in the future.

“I love the bump in my nose,” she explained. “People have said that I’ve had things like a jaw replacement or implant or something. I’m photographed every day of my life and have never worn any bandages or anything, so how could that be right?

The singer admitted she wanted to do something to preserve her good looks and felt that cosmetic surgery was “something she had to do.” She believes that having the surgery has lifted her career and she has no regrets.

Barkin slams Hollywood surgery addicts

Ocean’s Thirteen star Ellen Barkin has criticised celebrities who feel they need to turn to cosmetic surgery to remain looking youthful.

53 year old actress Barkin said that she felt some stars in Hollywood had now undergone so many cosmetic surgery procedures that their acting was starting to be affected. “I think it is dangerous,” she explained. “They are sending out a signal saying ‘I’m not happy with where I am. I see celebrities of my age so sculpted that they don’t look natural any more. If their face cannot move or show expression, I am no longer interested in watching them act.”

Pete Burns sues over botched cosmetic surgery

Former pop star Pete Burns has sued his cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Maurizio Viel, over a ‘botched’ lip operation. Burns turned to the surgeon to have a lip implant removed however he alleges that Dr. Viel, instead of removing the implant, injected his lips with Evolution and Outline fillers causing swelling, blisters, discharge and lumps.
