The course is being offered with the aim of increasing standards in the cosmetic surgery industry.

The course offered is an MSc in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Practice and is offered from the University’s Postgraduate Medical Institute in Chelmsford, Essex and the first students will start the course in September 2012.

According to the Shanghai Daily, 10 lucky students who work for the hospital for a month or more will be entitled to free plastic surgery worth up to 5,000 yuan, plus they will be given a 5,000 yuan discount on more expensive surgery.

The jobs can be anything within the hospital including nursing helpers, cleaners, receptionists or security guards.
