An American company has claimed that is has found a way for patients to change the colour of their eyes through a new cosmetic surgery procedure.
Stroma Medical, based in California, has patented a technique that uses a laser beam to change brown eyes to blue in a few weeks. Early trials have shown that patients brown irises changed colour to blue after being exposed to a targeted laser beam.

Cosmetic surgery is increasingly becoming a Christmas gift, according to some experts. Despite problems with most major economies, many cosmetic surgeons have said that 2012 looks set to be a good year for them with some partners buying their significant others a cosmetic treatment for Christmas.

A new body serum has been flying off the shelves in the UK after claims that it can boost cup size, negating the need for padded bras and cosmetic surgery.
The Bust Fix serum has alread been hailed as the ‘boob job in a tube’ and at it’s peak, was selling around 1,000 tubes a minute.
The bust serum contains mangosteen which is said to promote fatty acid production in breast tissue. This helps to enlarge the fat cells and therefore increase breast size.

British Chancellor George Osborne has revealed plans to put VAT on cosmetic surgery procedures in an attempt to boost the UK’s coffers. It is estimated that the plans would bring in up to £500million a year in tax. The cosmetic surgery industry in the UK is worth around £2.3 billion a year – and this figure is said to be growing.

Sharon Osbourne, the outspoken judge on America’s Got Talent, has revealed that she has had her breast implants removed.
Osbourne told chat show The Talk that she had to remove them after she discovered that her implants had been leaking. The tell-tale sign was that she woke up one morning and found that her breasts were lop-sided.

Microlipo is the latest treatment on the cosmetic surgery market to help women looking for a breast reduction.
Breast reductions in the past require quite major surgery. Also know as reduction mammoplasties, the procedure usually involves fat, tissue and skin being removed from the breasts before they are reshaped and the nipples repositioned. This sort of surgery means that patients are often left with quite hefty scars and because a general anaesthetic is used, a three night stay in hospital plus six weeks of recovery time is usually required.

Glee’s Heather Morris has revealed that she did get a boob job, however she didn’t like the results and has already had the breast implants removed.
Earlier this year, she strenuously denied comments that she had had breast enlargement surgery. Instead, she claimed that any enhancement was due to her wearing good bras.
However the 24 year old has now confirmed to Fitness magazine that she did have a boob job however she found her larger chest too painful and so decided to have the implants removed.
