From a UK perspective, I think we have seen interest in Botox and dermal fillers increase, however plastic surgery has gone down as people are seeking lower cost temporary procedures. People are also willing to shop around for a lower price.

We did noticed a dip in clients last year however the interest in cosmetic surgery for men has increased at cities like Los Angeles economy dropout has led many in the potential new workforce to “look younger” We are adapting to the trend but overall your blog is true and there is a definite economy/service shift.

I agree with the article and New Body Cosmetic’s comment. It’s all about keeping with the trends. Face lifts are growing more popular these days and since they aren’t as dramatic/costly as other procedures, I’m finding them to increase in popularity.
