hi kaye im also using efidix and i dont believe anyone could use efudix twice daily for six months. the pain is bad enough going a couple of weeks as we both know.about the wrinkle thing im a 46 year old male and i cant even frown now because i have lost all my wrinkles so that bit is true. but a word of advice to anyone contemplating using this cream for cosmedic purposes make sure you build up your resistance to pain because it is a very painful experience to put yourself through. regards john rogers

HI there, I'm currently 15 days into a 21 day treatment with Efudix for solar keratosis. I'm interested in your trial where participants used the cream for 6 months. After 2 weeks I'm in a fair bit of discomfort (dryness, soreness, burning) and looking frightful, and really looking forward to finishing treatment in a week's time.

Did the people in the trial suffer side effects for the whole 6 months, or did it settle down? If so how long before it settled down?

Also, can you recommend a cream to promote healing once the treatment is finished?

Thanks, Kaye

The potential of fluorouracil cream (fluorouracilcream.com) is extraordinary. Given the size of the anti-aging, wrinkle-removal product sales, in the U.S. and worldwide (over $12 billion in 2005 according to The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), this substance could become a blockbuster.
